What is our 100% electricity?

Simply put, it means all the electricity we provide to our fixed tariff customers is backed by 100% renewable sources, like wind, solar, and hydro.

All electricity supplied to homes and businesses ultimately comes from the National Grid. But, for as long as you choose to fix with us, the amount of power you use from the grid will always be matched to 100% renewable sources.

To do this we have supply agreements with independent UK wind generators and purchase Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (or REGOs).

So what are REGOs?

Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin are certificates dispensed by Britain’s energy regulator Ofgem. They prove an energy supplier has bought a specific amount of power from a renewable generator.

We use REGOs to ensure the electricity we supply to our fixed tariff customers is backed by renewable sources. It’s as simple as that.
