With Sainsbury's Energy’s Annual Fix Version 3 tariff, you’ll have the peace of mind of knowing the price of your energy until at least 30 June 2011 - you’ll also get the chance to fix your prices again every year you remain on the tariff.

The key benefits:

  • Protection – against any unexpected price increases.
  • Peace of mind – no price changes until at least 30 June 2011.
  • Save up to £79^ a year – when you sign up to pay by monthly Direct Debit and take both gas and electricity from us.
  • Prices checked and renewed every year – so they’re always fixed at a competitive rate. You don’t need to do anything – we’ll contact you when your prices are up for renewal.
  • Easier budgeting – knowing that your unit rate will stay the same until 30 June 2011 means it’s easier to budget and plan effectively.

Important information:

  • Annual Fix Version 3 guarantees fixed unit rates until the end of June 2011. This means the price you pay for each unit of energy you use won’t change until this date.
  • Every year we’ll ask if you wish to fix your prices again for the next year with Annual Fix Version 3. Your renewal date is 1 July 2011, and we’ll send you a reminder nearer the time.
  • When the renewal date comes around, if you decide to stay on the tariff, your prices will be automatically renewed. If you change your mind, you’ll have 28 days to let us know and you won’t be charged an Early Termination Fee. Alternatively, we’ll be happy to help you choose another tariff and transfer you over.
  • If you decide to leave the tariff outside of the 28 day grace period, you may be charged an Early Termination Fee of £25 for gas and £25 for electricity (£50 for Dual Fuel customers).

^ Saving based on the comparison between an Annual Fix Version 3 Single Fuel customer paying by Cash/Cheque, and an Annual Fix Version 3 Dual Fuel customer paying by monthly Direct Debit. This £79 amount includes a monthly Direct Debit discount of 6% (£70.73 including VAT) and an extra Dual Fuel discount of £8.40 (including VAT) per year, based on a typical average consumption of 3,300kWh electricity and 20,500kWh gas. Monthly Direct Debit discounts are applied before VAT and any other discounts have been deducted. Please note this is an indicative amount and it may be different based on your tariff, consumption, fuel and payment type.
